Itinerary – 7 Days Tour from Tangier

Day 1: Tangier – Asilah – Rabat (250 km)

Upon arrival in Tangier, your 7 Days Tour from Tangier across Morocco begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast to Asilah, a charming, walled town known for its whitewashed buildings, vibrant street art, and coastal views. Once a pirate stronghold, Asilah is now a peaceful haven with rich cultural charm. Enjoy some free time for lunch and a leisurely stroll through the town.

After breakfast, begin the day with a panoramic tour of Rabat, including an exterior visit to the Royal Palace (Dar el Makhzen), the impressive Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the iconic Hassan Tower, the minaret of an unfinished 12th-century mosque.

We then travel to Casablanca, Morocco’s modern economic hub. Highlights include Avenue Anfa, Place des Nations, and an exterior tour of the majestic Hassan II Mosque (interior visits are available as an optional activity).
Later in the afternoon, we proceed to Marrakech, a city where Africa, Europe, and the Middle East meet in colorful harmony. After check-in at your hotel, enjoy free time to explore the mystical atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna Square. Dinner and overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 3: Full Day in Marrakech

Today, after breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, also known as the “Red City.” Your visit includes:

• The iconic Jemaa el-Fna Square, with its lively entertainers, musicians, and market stalls

After the city tour, enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon is free for further exploration — you may wish to visit the Saadian Tombs, the Marrakech Museum, or simply wander the vibrant souks.
Optionally, you can enjoy a traditional dinner and folkloric show recreating the magic of One Thousand and One Nights. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 4: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Boumalne Dades (335 km)

After breakfast, we depart Marrakech and head toward the desert. 7 Days Tour from Tangier through the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest road pass in North Africa, offering breathtaking mountain views.

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a striking ksar featured in many famous films like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.
Continue through stunning desert-mountain scenery toward Ouarzazate, and then along the Valley of Roses to Boumalne Dades, passing ancient kasbahs and lush palm groves. Arrive at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorges – Khorbat – Erfoud – Merzouga (265 km)

Today’s adventure begins with a scenic drive through the Kasbah Valley, visiting the breathtaking Todra Gorges, a series of limestone river canyons.

We’ll also stop at a traditional mud-brick village near Khorbat (subject to weather conditions), then continue to Erfoud, known for its fossils and date production.
After lunch, 7 Days Tour from Tangier to Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here, you may choose to embark on a 4×4 adventure or a camel ride to witness the sunset over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp with dinner and traditional music under the stars.

Day 6: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fes (462 km)

Wake up early to enjoy a magical sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast in the desert. We then begin our journey north through the scenic Ziz Valley and into the Middle Atlas Mountains.

We’ll pass through Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before arriving in Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city. The remainder of the day is free to relax or begin exploring the city’s incredible medina. Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

Day 7: Fes – Chefchaouen – Tangier (398 km)

After breakfast, enjoy a guided visit of Fes el-Bali, home to the world’s oldest university and over 9,000 narrow streets. Highlights include:

• Bab Bou Jeloud Gate

• The Jewish Quarter (Mellah)

• The Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University

• Traditional tanneries and artisan souks

After lunch in a traditional riad or palace, we depart toward Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue Pearl” nestled in the Rif Mountains. After a short visit or scenic drive through the town, we continue to Tangier. Arrival in the evening, check-in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
